                                                             OUR GUARDIAN ANGELS

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
Mark Twain

"Life is mostly froth and bubble,
Two things stand like stone,
KINDNESS in another's trouble,
COURAGE in your own."                     Adam Lindsay Gordon

Doug & Judith: An amazing couple we met while camping on the banks of the Gwydir River in Bingara, NSW. Judy gave me burn cream. Doug gave us photos and DVDs then had us to stay at his house in Kooralbyn... lorikeet feeding, day trips in the scenic rim and that wonderful fire bucket- thanks Doug x

Bauers: our friends from Renmark who helped us find work and provided crumble, ice cream & custard! It was great to meet up with them again in Bingara and to share meals, daytrips and a fossiking adventure!

Vicki from the Naracoorte Information centre: for her perfect recommendation of car-fixer extraordinaire!

Val: from Vans in Naracoorte- car fixer extraordinaire...at 4.30 on a Friday...for only $50!

Nephew Calum bought this for his Auntie Kirst & family. We have already encountered a few guardian angels on the way...

Grain Man: who saved us at Varley where we almost ran out of diesel on day one of our trip!

Errol & Lyn: who saved us from making a bad choice of camp site at Ceduna.

Coffin Bay Couple: who stopped our solar panels blowing away and turned them to face the sun while we were off camp at Yangie Bay... and jump started our car!

Dr Dana and the staff at Crystal Brook Hospital:
who were amazingly kind and attentive when removing Mackenzie's cast and bulk billed us to boot!

Lorraine & John Badger: who offered us a break from camper trailer living at their house in the Adelaide Hills...have helped us enormously and given us a wealth of advice based on their own extensive travelling experience.

Thanks everyone! And to those of you back in Perth looking out for us and our house and our affairs x
